MoLAA was created or founded to educate Americans on the contemporary Latino art.
There was no such thing or place in the U.S. prior to this.

2. How many exhibits per year?
I couldn't pull up the site listed, but on www.molaa.org there is a listing of previous exhibits and it looks like it ranges from three or four to several such as the eight listed in 2000.
